I have a problem here, hopefully some kind souls here can help me solve it.

I have bought a digital climate control and want to replace my analogue one.
I have all the wire connected up and the functions of the digital climate control works fine. All the display works, the fan speeds works ..etc.

The only problem is that when I turn on the power or start the engine. My aircon seems to turn on all the time and doesn't off even if i try to press the "off" button on the control panel.

There are two connector (white and yellow) together with the climate control. These connector are use to connect it to the wire hareness of the 180SX. The small connector have about 18 wires (two layers) and the larger one is a single layer with 6 wires. Once I unpluck the 6 wires connector, The fan stops but the rest of the functions still works.

I suspect that it maybe due to the 6 wires connector.

Anyone of you encounter this problem?

Please advise.

Thanks

i was lookin into doin the same and i hav been told of that problem, i got to talking with my dad and sum ppl and came to the conclusion that there is sumthing different to the connections to the solinoids that operate the ac, best and safest thing to do is to take it to an auto electrician to sort that out.

Hope this helps ya bud
