hey people, anyone have a diagram of a heatshield box to cover a pod filter for a ca18det?
i need one asap to cover my filter up.
i think razor had one of these box's made up for his ca18det.
i was wondering how hard it is to make one and the steps involved.

very easy to make. get some stiff cardboard and chop and cut it up so that it forms your airbox perfectly to how u want the real thing to be.

then use that as your template, which u should transfer to some sort of metal or perhaps plastic. Bunnings and crap should have aluminium that is soft enough to manipulate, but if u have tinsnips then it will be a breeze.

make sure u think about how u will remove the airbox for maintanance as well in the future, so i dont recommend trying to weld the box up when fitted to the engine bay :wink:
