Ok, everyone tell ur stories to do with funny, ass whooping, crazy, fun, stoopid or wot eva the hell it was stories about wot u've all done in ur cars!!!

i'll go, i was drivin my friends nissan pintara, has a few mods and is an early one so it is RWD, and these guys pulled up in a modded up rice boy piece of shit EXCEL! hahaha, wot dikheads! but anyway my mates pinni sounds wikid and has a deep grumble, which i am sure everyone is familliar with on their own cars! but anyway i gave his car a couple of revs and then the guys in the excel started laughing.....we told em to look at wot they were driving and that they were an embarrasment to the name CARS and then the lights turned green. dropped the cluth and we left them in a cloud of smoke........u should of seen their faces when we slowed back down......PRICELESS:P

My first run with the 180 ---

i had a run with a Boxter.
a car 20times the price of mine.

1st gear he had a slight jump. i was lined up with his front wheels.
2nd-3rd practically the same. cool ( i thought)
at the end of 3rd we were nose to nose.

mind you we were on suburban street and I didn't want to push further then 3rd and was still getting used to the car. we all know how fast the SR20DET at the top of 3rd.

2nd traffic light. I had a better launch and I was in front till a round about crossed our path.

My 180 with its shitty brakes - we'll compared to the Porche ... locked ... the proch didn't even brake till he was at the round about.

as we exit the 'bout he was infront. Then to the lights.. we we're just both laughing.

BRAKES on them porches are the bomb... I need them GTR33 brakes..
so thats a half brag and half funny/embarassing story ...

Yea i went out with a mate who had a S13 Silvia SR20DET and we went lookin for people to drag the night he got it! We beat some things but he was really just gettn used to his car! We beat a stocko WRX and was pretty stocked about that!!!
Come on people we need more stories!!

Tonight i was in town and pulled up at a set of lights and a VN or VP pulled up next to me it had a body kit lowered mags and a milo tin exhuast the driver was looking my car over and reving his when the light turned green he floored it and due to a wet road spun out and hit the traffic light pole on the other side and the cops came around the coner about 2 seconds later

Had a run with a late model MONARO not too long ago.
woooped him with first gear and started pullin a little more in 2nd.
3rd was similar but by that time he was atleast a couple of carlengths behind.

what do those things do in the 0-100 and qrtrs.
seemed pretty slow for an 80,000 car.

an S2000 gave me a better run.
i wooped him too.

Had a go at a MALOO on the highway too and I wasn't impressed with them either. i think their 5.7ltr V8s and cant even pull away from a 2ltr 4cyl. I was on his tail till my speed limiter cut my arse offf...scared the livin sh1t out of me.

Love running the big V8s

LoL, I cant wait till i can race the big V8's in my car!!!
so can a almost stock standard 180 (SR20DET) xcept for an exhaust and airfilter etc......just the cheapest mods.....can they beat most WRX's and V8's???

dunno about wrexies but my car is almost standard..

only cat back and filter. Only pulled 110kw@rw and I managed to keep up with a porche and pull away from a couple of V*

my CUZ with a 200 blew a monaro awy easy..

then again he's running full ZOST + 1 bar of boost and other little bits and pieces.

have had a couple of runs with a mates wrexxy and I don't think i'll pull away from him. more like he'll pull away from me. though his beast is also running full ZOST and 1 bar+....

Yeah u should be able 2 run them down just get an ok start, dont let them get 2 far ahead.

0-100 my money would be on a rexy.
lets just say that the driver skills are exactly the same.....
can't compare the traction on both cars.

my mate rex is the older verion.. the new bug eyed version is suppose to be a tad bit slower than the old... but its the traction that seperates us to the rex...

on the highway theres not much between the two as I've had a couple of runs too... Only thing that shits me is my 180 limiter.

providing you get a good launch then it'll be a good run with a wrex.

I almost lost my licence tonight I went down to the servo to get some smokes and munchies after taking off i came to a red light at which i had to turn right and a cop car pulled behind me so i done the ever carfull take off just gave the S13 enough to move and the wheels spun and put me sideways around the coner the cops hit there disco lights and music and after watching me pull over they come around the corner only to do the same but with more spin the cops pull over behind me and said i was lucky that they spun out as i would of been booked for several offences we went over and looked at the road and found some dickhead had dropped oil on the road the the cops then looked my car over and told me that my S13 looked nice and a friendly warnig that my tyres will need replacing soon.
so there you go not all cops are dickheads all though more seem to be dickheads

couldn't agree more.

but taking a rexy on a corner flat on the throttle and raining is a totally different character to the dorifta SR20DET..

nice handling. especially on the rain..

I've nearly lost my car a few times due to rain.
i remember a curve on 3rd gear and my back started to slide.
corrected it and when it went on boooost again... there it goes.

1st and 2nd is almost hopeless in the rain. especially on curves...

buts thats one big reason why ppl love these cars so much
just my 2cents... got a lot of respect on them rexies when it comes to handling...
