It was a NO GO!!
The asshole said immaculate everything but when I had the inspection conducted just b4 the arrival, a shit load of defects turned up!!!
And he had the cheek to tell the guy doing the inspection that it had a,"Shit paint job" and told me the paint work was in fantastic condition. Paint thickness all over was at least 1mm thick!!! which means it will crack up all over in just a mth or 2.
Mechancially the list was long. Leaking shock absorber, Chips all over the windscreen, ultra unroad worthy. 4 tires need replacement. Brake pads needs replacement. Odo no.s not lineing up properly!! Not a single panel on the car was original and it was badly painted!!! U could actually see the sandpaper like finish a few metres away!!
SUPER DODGY!!
Fucking idiot was not truthful with me and I wasted $600 on flights and inspection!!

hey al, that sounds no good, did you get all the photos that I took of the 180 at autodisposals, Now that was a bloody clean car!

Rod said to me you were ment to go over but didnt show up, I know he has a white and a red 180 there at the moment, both with there fair share of mods, I actually drove the white one (16' sparcos, body kit, heaps of interior rice, exhaust, SR20DET. Its a FREAK car let me tell you, I warmed it up and everything first then punched it in first, up until 4 grand it seemed just the same as my car (CA18), Then all of a sudden the rear wheels picked up and the car went sideways through first and second. VERY NICE!!!!!! :smile:
Ive driven plenty of 180's, sr and ca and That car hammers I must say.
Give him a call about it, im almost considering selling my car for it, so you better be quick :smile:

I didnt make any appointments to see Rod about any car, so I dont understand what u mean by I didnt show??

What's he asking for the 180's anyway??
any other details like what yr, mods or mileage??

I am still deciding on a few other cars at the moment.
The Sr is a great motor but even with a body kit I seriously think the 180's shape is very dated to the early 90s'.
I have seen a TT Soarer with all luxury options(TEMS suspension,TV and all) and a GPX FTO with bodykit, HKS SuperDragger, Ohlins Suspension and 17" Advans and super low profile tyres at a very very good price.
They have all checked out mechanically fine.

I know, this being a Nissan website, I will, definitely receive bias comments.
Well, if you could give me anymore details on Rod's 180, I will give it a serious thought before the hammer falls this Wed.
I would hate to leave this company of Nissans

Just a word of advice to all members here.
If this guy advertises to sell his car again steer clear!! Dont even bother considering!
