I've got 17ich rims on my 180 at the moment..
but the guy who i bought that car off had some dodgy re-treaded tyres oh them....

now i'm out shopping for some so yea.. what specs should i get
I've seen 245/40 (rear) 225/40 (front)....
but can i go bigger??... .... whats the max???..
I just want good traction... :D

What do you mean by bigger ?
if you are talking about the profile then you shouldnt as this will put your speedo out and if you are talking about width you can go as wide as you like as long as it fits under the guard if your tyres start to rubb the gaurd you can get your lip rolled or flared to allow it to fit
Any decent tyre store will tell you the above anyway

I have Falken GRB's on my 17" rims... and i have to say they grip like a bitch :( I tried to do a drift at 80km/h yesterday hard through a big round about at work with 2 people in the car and it just flew round the corner and didn't make a noise or slip or anything, time for the old wheels to go on the back again me thinks :)
