bought a 180 yesterday and guess what?


it died yesterday to 6ks from where ii bought it (private sale), absoultley no idea what is wrong with it!!!! Will have a good look at it on the weekend, so heres hoping it is somethin simple then i can actually cruise with it. had to get it towed from taree to newcastle....NOT HAPPY JAN!

the clutch was beyond stuffed, cant figure out why it didnt slip though, the clutch plate was polished it was that far worn the clutch linin had clogged the starter motor up something horrid and the clutch linin was behind the flywheel , Figure how it got there???????
i am from Nelson Bay, but hey barely anyone knows where it is so i just say newcastle, hopefully the car will be up and going next weekend... just waiting for a clutch

Ahh ok, didnt you notice the clutch was ****** when you test drove it?
I know where nelosn bay is used to go to the beach there all the time.
How much it cost to fix?

nah man i didnt slip once even when i was driving it from his house to KFC and then to the servo still didnt slip as i was on the freeway, actuially it never slipped or shudded but fuck hey the clutch plate is almost polished so it was gone a while ago, there was clutch lining everywhere, it clogged the f***in ctarter motor up so hey, who knows why i wouldnt notice it?
yeh surf is sorta aight here boxy is good but thats bout it
um need a new clutch (standard from Repco (no money and i get pretty sweet prices from repco) and also need my flywheel machined flat again to many ridges in it, i just hope they know it is a stepped flywheel!!!!!, hopefully should get it all today put my car back together tonite and be cruising by the weekend..........hopefully

good to hear,

id be very relieved cause i would of course be assuming the worst if i was in that situation....

friend had pretty much the same thing and it was worst case scenario in the end,
(but that werent a NISSAN )

clutch tomorrow and they are also maching my flywheel for me

so install that sturday and if all goes well be cruising saturday nite
