hey all..

i was just wondering whether any of ya'll have changed the color of ur car?
i wanna go from whine red to Lime Green :wink:

maybe with Yellow Pear

i just wanted to know roughly how much $$$'s am i looking at..
and wheres the best place in sydney to go...

that depends on what sort of sprayjob you want. Full body or not what quality paint.

yeh obviously full body dude..
its a color change i cant just change half of the car to green and leave the other half red... :lol:

oh and frank paid 4k for full respray.. that includes everything
not like 1-2k for spraying just the outside

obviously I meant full body as in engine bay, removing trim and so on.

Only suggestions here..

You want to paint inside and out, so engine removed allwindows removed, door trims, boot etc. Not the quik way and tape up, and cover stuff with newspaper etc.
Expect to pay $8000- $10000 for an immaculate job. Thats inside and out then putting all your running gear back together again.
No runs, no dents, flow coat, no freckling.
I recently asked Autolac (paint and supplies in Girraween) whos the painters painter? and they mentioned Wetherill Pk smash reapir.
its a good idea to ask around ALOT!. Prices will vary soo much.
Remember if ya get ya mate or mates mate, to do it and it stuffs up, its harder to go back and have them do it again.
The TWUBLE celica was around $8500, but engine bay wasnt done. I think. mates mates car. But I'd believe it.

Also a good panel shop will have 2 seperate booths, one for Highfilling and one for paint work only. Have a look around and ask.

This is my opinoin only, based on 3 years experience with fiberglass body kits, and talking to customers with modified cars and seeing the results..
