Hi all, My most recent upgrade to my S14 has been pineapple rings.. I dont know if there are any other posts on this so please forgive me if ive missed it.

Well i put the pineapple rings on yesterday, and all i can say is.. What a massive difference!! The car feels like it should, i havent done any fast driving or drifting, just normal daily driving and the car feels so much better. If anyone else was thinking about fitting them, dont think!! Just do!!

Generally, 'pineapples' refer to the urethane bushes. The alloy collars are called 'sub-frame locks'.

I've used both and have fitted both to several other people's cars over the years, and I find that the alloy collars are the best of the two options.
Some people report that NVH increases with the alloy collars,I've never noticed it. The pineapples are both more difficult to fit,and eventually wear out. The collars last forever, and are more rigid.

^^ You don't go on ebay,or to places like Just jap?

Alloy collars are worth about $60-80 new, about the same as the pineapples.
