Ok iv set myself aside $2000 to put into my 1991 SR20DE s13, iv already got coilovers in and an extractor back exhaust kit with an s15 brake conversion in the works, im looking to boost power and response to make it a bit funner for track days, at this stage im not dedicating it to any style of driving, any tips/pointers would be appreciated, cheers |

If it has to remain NA because you're a P plater,there's not a lot worth doing. You'll throw it all out once you're allowed a turbo engine,so the best bet is to put that $2k in the bank and save up for when you're unrestricted and do a turbo engine swap then. If you must play with it now,proper extractors,bigger cams,and a retune are the way to go. Justin... |

im on my opens now, is it possible to get a bolt on turbo rather than doing a full engine swap? |

forget about the power, an na will always be pretty slow on the straights. Concentrate on the handling. Koni yellows or bilstein shocks, some rsr lowered springs, and some adjustable caster rods. ~1400 elongate the top hole on the front strut to gain some camber, rears will be okish. ~free alloy subframe collars ~100 second hand 1.5 way diff if you can find one cheap enough to bring the whole lot in under 2k ~500 |

thats a no , you will need to do engine conversion. I would not pouring money into an NA SR20 if your on your P's i would advise you save your money till you are on your opens then look at your options. |

+1 to that! Also, if you enter track days before you mod anything, it will highlight what's lacking in the car, so just by driving you'll get a good idea what needs replacing and what can wait. |
