See if you can get one close to stock or with limited mods and a good service history. If it sounds too cheap, or too good to be true it probably is.

both nice and pretty much stock 200's

the first one seems clean, but there's only one photo, should ask the guy to send you more, it's kind of sus
and the price is quite up there, not the cheapest 200 you can get out there

the 2nd one, should have a look at the area, some might say HOXTON PARK isn't such a nice place

and also run REV checks on car you are looking to buy

revs check is a must when spending that kinda cash, just watch out for the usual signs when buying, people who say trust me this that etc etc are usually the ones with hidden disasters, doesnt matter what car you buy 2nd hand provided you keep them maintained and serviced you shouldnt run into alot of headace, if you buy anything over the 100k kms mark ask for 100k kms service recipts etc,

iv bought and sold many cars over the years you get some good ones and you get some lemons, iv seen brand new cars under warrenty turn pair shaped over night expect the unexpected lol...

I actually looked at that first one with the one photo.

Was a bit dodgy, massive paint fade on the roof, interior quite worn, also missing guards between front wheels and front bar.

Mechanically it went alright, he took me for a quick drive around the block so it was hard to tell though.

i've only just recently bought my s15.
what i found was that there weren't many good ones in Sydney, most looked thrashed, not the best condition and were heavily modified.
i ended up having to go to Melbourne to buy it, looked at 3 cars down there one day and the standard was much better i found.. i ended up buying the last one i looked at and drove it home that night and am extremely happy with it..

to me the $500 cost of going interstate and driving it back was definitely worth making sure i got the car i wanted.
