Hey all, just picking a few brains, ive always been a bit of a V8 head but now got me a Silvia to play with.....Would a Garret 35/40 Turbo be too much overkill for the motor....my aim is to at least get the car to push out 280KW. Ive already had the motor apart bored out and placed Forged Pistons in it. Also if you have any tips or suggestions it would be much appreciated. Regards

Way too big for your goal.

Look at 3071's (-23 or -5023 cart) for that sort of power on pump gas at reasonable boost levels.

If you want to take a punt on a brand new design look at the new borg warner EFR 7064 in .92 twin scroll housing.

I saw a graph of a 3540 make 20psi at 4k on an SR, and that was with big cams, standard motor. With some adjustments to the setup and a smaller duration intake cam could be pretty cool, probably undriveable, but cool.
