Car: none atm
I'm thinking about importing a S14 from japan but i'm unsure if i can import a car that has performance modifications. at http://www.raws.com.au/ImportPurchase.asp it says

"For a vehicle is to be complied by a RAW, it must be fitted with original components (air intake, engine, exhaust, suspension, steering wheel amongst others). If the vehicle is non-standard, this will increase the cost of compliance as the RAW will need to return the vehicle to its standard production format."

the car i was thinking of importing is this one http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?ur ... &title=S14
so does anyone have any experience with importing cars or any info on how to import a car with performance mods any help will be greatly appreciated.

S14's are not eligible for grey import as they were sold here by nissan.

Only if you moved to Japan, and owned the car for a year over there, then applied for a personal import.

Other than this, if you hold the appropriate CAMS licence you can import one for race/rally use but it can NEVER be registered.

Just by an AUDM one.
