hey need help on a simple brake upgrade that will get an eng cert for my s13 wit a rb25 in it? Also can anyone recomend a got tuning shop in canberra mayb syd or melbs? thanks |

S14/S15 4pot or even better R32/R33 GTST as they got a bigger rotor size. |

every engineer i have talked to wanted, the same or better brakes as the car the engine came from +1 to r33gtst's |

Nath has it right; r33gtst or better will be the way to go. Calipers bolt up, minor mods to the banjo or remove the olive from the caliper or a short custom hard line to the caliper, redrill the rotor to 4 stud. No changes to hubs, LCA's etc. Re the workshop, better off finding a brake specialist rather than a workshop, pretty much any shop worth the name will be able to do the swap properly. |

Thanks for the responses as to the workshop i was meaning dyno and tuning as just about to fit with new ecu. also any advice on best ecu 4 $800- $2000??? |

You don't have many options with RB25 for ECU's. The obvious one is PowerFc, but they are rare for RB25 i think. There are dudes that can remap them, but that is expensive I would be looking towards replacing your ECU with one from a Z32, and getting that Nistuned. It should fall well within your budget (including fitting and tuning) As far as tuners, Unigroup in Girraween should be able to perform this job. |
