S14/S15 4pot or even better R32/R33 GTST as they got a bigger rotor size.

every engineer i have talked to wanted, the same or better brakes as the car the engine came from

+1 to r33gtst's

Nath has it right; r33gtst or better will be the way to go.

Calipers bolt up, minor mods to the banjo or remove the olive from the caliper or a short custom hard line to the caliper, redrill the rotor to 4 stud.

No changes to hubs, LCA's etc.

Re the workshop, better off finding a brake specialist rather than a workshop, pretty much any shop worth the name will be able to do the swap properly.

You don't have many options with RB25 for ECU's. The obvious one is PowerFc, but they are rare for RB25 i think.

There are dudes that can remap them, but that is expensive

I would be looking towards replacing your ECU with one from a Z32, and getting that Nistuned. It should fall well within your budget (including fitting and tuning)

As far as tuners, Unigroup in Girraween should be able to perform this job.
