hey guys, my s15 came with the satnav/tv, satnav doesnt work in aus, so its pretty much pointless.

the screen has a mind of its own, sometimes it works, sometimes just goes to a light blue screen with some japanese writing and i cant do nothing, cant even put the screen down so its stuck open, unless i take the keys out the ignition.

any idea whats going on, its starting to get annoying. im really thinking bout replacing it with an aftermarket screen and unit or something.

I think it might be something to do with the floor mats shorting out?

my screen doesnt even bother to come up anymore, i read this forum on ns.com about some guy in sydney who can mod the in dash screen to work with an aftermarket HD

i got a jap spec sat/tv/dvd unit that came with my S15 too.. same thing comes up when i switch it on.. :(

if only someone in Sydney could tweak/mod them to play Aus region dvds...
