People are obsessed with ISMR...

How about Proconcept, better work than IS...

ru55kj has just recently moved to San Souci, and ISMR is in Rockdale, very close by, which is what he was looking for; a reputable workshop near by to get work done/services etc.

Proconcept is a great workshop too, and awesomely fast EK civics on the track. But they're located at West Ryde.

San souci to West Ryde (going by Whereis.com directions using tolls) is a 29km drive!

i'd drive the 29km's if the workshop is better.Convenience is not what you should be looking for most when choosing a workshop...

there's nothing close to you so that's hardly relevant.

pro concept gets my vote. not on location,as the distance from me to Josh or to Indy is about the same, just in different directions. Josh has always looked after me and is a good friend,so I'll always go there, and will always send him work where possible.

True true...29km doesn't seem like much if the work done to the car is perfect and gauranteed to not go bang or go up in smokes.

IS=fail to me indy told me that my boost controller was crap and not working properly and would never be able to hold more than 1 bar. this was about 1 week after installing a profec b II and having it tuned by the hitman. man was he full of crap!

Right now im scamming free wifi at west ryde while my car is being worked on my Pro Conecpt. This is the first time i've sent my car there so can't really give any personal comments but from speaking to him over the phone and hearing what everyone tells me about them...they will be my #1 pick of the workshops around sydney!!! lets hope he lives up to the hype.

Josh is a champ, always gives me good advice when i go there.

damn, why doesn't it ever get easy.....

I guess, I'll have to make up my mind very soon... how far is proConcept from the station?
Has anyone tried to pick up the car after hours? On the other hand there is nothing wrong with leaving work a little earlier :)

id steer clear of is aswell, too many dodgey experiences and stories from them

i agree, my mate took his gtr there, it had cutting & leaning out issues, all he did was up the boost (2 psi more) and dyno run the car with print out & said, yep its done & problem fixed, my friend grabbed his car and GTFO there ASAP!

maybe IS thinks he is top stuff cause he done the autosalon/industries drift car? maybe his ego grew and started to be c0cky.

I've heard alot more bad things about Powertune than good things.

Obviously they aren't an option anyway as he lives at Sans Souci
