hi guys,

im chnaging my clutch soon and i was thinking about getting a 5 puk clutch. Just wondering if this is to agressive for a 6 speed gear box or if it will be ok?

i dont drive it to hard but i want to know how much more strain a 5 puk will put on the drivetrain compared to an organic which is currently in there.

A LOT MORE

but it all depends on how much power you're making.

the 6 speed is not the strongest box (circlip issues) so I would personally stay away from it.

it depends more on how you drive the car than how much power you have.

a car with a stock engine driven with no sympathy will fail before a worked one driven smoothly will.

the 6spd is weaker than the 5spd but it's not like it's a T50...

I personally don't like button clutches much, but then,I don't do much clutch kicking nor replacing of driveline parts.

xtreme 9 puck xhd pressure plate combo.

It is a very nice clutch to drive and only slightly more bitey than the stocker on take off and similar pedal weight. Was happy holding 288rwkw in the skyline.

I've also driven the same clutch with the HD pressure plate but it wasn't as nice. The pressure plate, and so pedal feel, weren't as linear.

thank brett

the cover in a cushion button is only 35% more than standard,
the sport organic is 45 to 50% more than standard. It has anti burst casting and triple straps the plate in an SO kit is modified to take more torque and has higher heat tolerence the only thing that most people don't like is that it has not much play in them. It should handle 384KW at the flywheel :D

Is that the case with a "sport organic" to suit an s13 ? How much do these clutches sell for ?

also interested in how much the sports organic cost.

the Heavy duty button is resonably priced at $560 which is why im thinking about getting it. Nismo and ORC clutches are way out of my price range.

EXEDY don't do retail price. But if you give the area you are in i can give you the best distributor.
Be care fully with the S15 they have a dual mass flywheel that can't be machined.
