haha...hey everyone

just wondering if any1 knows where i can go, throw down a few witches hats and attempt to crack my fog lights with them lol!!! nahh seriously..

just lookjing for a nicely finished glab of concrete so slide on without attracting 2 much 5.0 attention... please dont b shy :)

From memory there is a nice patch of concrete near bay st in brighton. The best time to go there would be from around 9pm till late on a friday or saturday night. Let us know how you go. :P

lol brighton... yeah nwz :P why dont i just put a shredder in my car for the copper 2 use when he pulls me over for shifting gears at high rpms n making 2 much noise haha.. let alone even thinking about spinning wheels:P

go to an organised skidpan day at oran park

there are some run by project d and initial drift, there is usually one on about every month

only costs about 150 and is alot better opion,

If this is the same patch as what I'm thinking, overlooking the airport, it has been turned ito a desalination plant or something similar. Mind you last time I checked was a few months ago..

Autosport has a skidpan day on December 14th, $140.

i dont get whats wrong with what im asking?? just looking for sum nice smooth place to teach myself to control my car a little better and gain some driving confidence...

iv driven a fwd drive car all my life... had way 2 many ** THAT WAS CLOSE ** experiances..

Because 99% of people don't just get in a car and get how to do skids. If you go out on your own with no one who knows how to do it you will just make a meal of it and destroy a set of tyres.

We're recommending skid pan days and driver training so you get some proper advice on how to control a car.

I'm actually booking myself in today for a skidpan training at Oran Park. its $400 per person, (i dunno if this is the one Locky was talking about) but you have a trainer in the car who teaches you about over steer, under steer, hand break turns, when the brakes lock up how to control the car etc. its an 8 hour day, and at the end you can have a bit of fun. free lunch and beverages all day:

nah i was talking about project d ( www.projectd.com.au )

there days are about 160 and have about 20ppl at them


no trainer as such but you just get to push your car and do some skids but you learn heaps in the process


more beginner drift then anything else :wink:
