hey all i'm new to the place, just hoping to find wats a good size catback exhaust for a S13 Silvia non-turbo and also if anyone could tell me what this box or plugs could be, i have no idea wen i got the car a year and abit ago i saw it but didnt pay much attention to it but now i really want to know what it is, the box is white'ish colour and is connected to the battery and then has 2 wires coming out of it and they just sit there infront of my radiator it has to plugs on the end of it almost look like they r for the headlights or something but i tried connecting them and doesn't work i have posted to pics for ya to see what i mean please help its doing my head in really bad, i jst dnt want to take it out incase its useful in any way or form.

2.25-2.5 seems to be the consensus for the sweetspot on NAs IIRC/

Thats whats on my soon to be not NA sil.

2 1/2" would be the minimum IMHO. a cheapie 3" catback would be my choice. a 2l that revs to just over 7k needs as much flow as you can get in the top end.

good extractors are a must also.

do a search for dumhed's (former) NA nugget and copy as much as you can of what that car ran.... that'll be a good place to work from.

after that,wait until you're off of your P plates.


my guess on the mystery box is japanese driving lights. without looking at it properly (i.e. in person) I won't venture anything more than that.
