As the headin states its been one of those weeks, first i went to a workshop to see bout havin a few things looked at and found that the exhaust had been moved and was bashing against the passenger side floor so had to get that fixed along with the muffler and cat converter, then found out the cat converter had been hollowed out so luckily that got replaced with a high-flow one then i was talking with the mechanic and found that one of my intercooler pipes had a rubber pipe over a part of it instead of a silicone one so i gotta replace that to get back the HP i'm losing and finally I saw the inside of my tyres were bald so i went n got them replaced yesterday and got new rims while i was at it..so i left it with them only to go back and be told that for some strange reason the right hand side strut was lower than the left and therefore the tyre couldn't fit on so now i have to get it fixed before gettin the tyres put on.

I was going to get the exhaust and tyres etc done anyway so i guess all this meant was that it had to be done a little bit sooner than originally planned and even tho my dad and a few of my mates complain bout why didnt i get a better car i dont mind cause i know it'll be worth it at the end when im through with all the mods.

mods? you mean repairs don't you?

exhausts don't move unless they've impacted something. that's if it was made properly in the first place, which from reading through your 8 line sentence,it seems that was not the case.

a rubber intercooler pipe joiner is not a problem unless it is torn. the factory joiners are all rubber, and are more than adequate for street-driven applications.

if the car is so low that you can't even replace a worn tyre without clearance problems,it needs to be raised.
different ride heights side to side is not uncommon for setups using std struts with cheap aftermarket springs, and is expected if you have chopped springs.
if you have coilovers, this can be fixed easily by a spring base collar adjustment. if not you'll need to buy different springs.

also if you're scrubbing out the inside of rear tyres you have an excessive negative camber setting for your driving style.

Found the problem with my front tyres...seems some bright spark (hopefully not a qualified tradesperson) put rear struts that weren't even made for the silvia on the front of the car and the wheels were rubbing against them and eventually wore the rubber down.

So i pulled them out and replaced them with BC racing coilovers and now i got alot more room under the guard and the steering's improved.

Nah I changed the struts and got bob jane to change my rims & tyres afterwards, and i'm not sure how they got them to fit..possibly lowered the suspension? but whatever they did it resulted in the strut towers buckling

I've had 2 mechanics look at it, but the first didn't know much about turbos cause they completely tightened up my bov & the second mechanic knew about turbos but ripped me off on alot of things, he claimed that 4 or 5 wheel alignments had to be done to make sure the struts were right :-?

i think you should take your car either to pro concept or autosport

pay the extra but in the end they have enough reviews to back them up.
