hey everyone... title speaks for itself... iv been reading threw the forum pages and yeah think im getting that common idling problem... super slugishness and the rest..

can someone please list me some ideas to get her purr...ing again:(

and i can i please have some D.I.Y instructions on....

***HOW TO CLEAN MY AIR FLOW METER***

AND IF THAT DONT WORK..

*** HOW THE HELL I FIGURE OUT WHATS GOIN ON WITH THIS CARR!!!***

PREVIOUSLY OWNED A TYPE S SO I HAVE A GREAT KNOWLEDGE OF HONDAS...

but im illiterate when it comes to SR's.. :(:(

I had this problem, check the connection with your AFM plug and give it a good clean out and make sure its got a good connection...

Might be a vacuum hose that is leaking, one of those smaller hoses connected close to the top of the engine rocker cover.

heyy i own an autech s15 as well. i have gearbox and idling issues as well. but i think its just how the sr20de is like. very sluggish when the engine is old.

I think he meant Cold,and left the C out. of course it's sluggish,you're not supposed to push it hard when it's still warming up...

nahh shes runnign good now :) put stock exhaust on... high flow air intake system. cleaned AFM...

service ** oil+filter, new magnetic sump plug n fer other bits n pieces ** and got rid of the air flow controler previously on the car..

n shes smoothie again :)

going to get a nice cat back made + high flow cat then dyno tune!! let u kno my results..

nice. good to hear your cars running smooth again. did you change the gearbox oil, engine oil or was it both?
