Youll need the gear stick surround/consul, maybe see if you can pick up a manual diff, its not a big issue if you don't

what exactly is the gear stick surround/console thing??? atm it looks like the auto part is a separate part so it looks like it would come off and be the perfext size for the stick to come through and for the boot...?

the auto gear surround will be fine, theres a few screws on the bottom to take off the plastic. just pick up a gear boot cover somewhere.

for the drive shaft you need to use half of the manual and half of the auto. cus of the auto diff.

youll need a hole saw to drill through the clutch pedal on the firewall

you dont need to change to a manual diff, if the auto one is a lsd then keep it in there, you'll have a lower top speed but will take of alot quicker, i did a auto to man conversion and kept the auto lsd in there, no one knew why the car took off so hard for how little mods it had

oh and yeh if you dont like it then you can always change to a manual later on, the housings are exactly the same, just the gear ratio's are different

The only catch is that you need to bridge a wire in the fusebox so the car thinks youre in park/neutral all the time.

There's a factory ignition cut with autos, so you can't start the car while in gear.

You don't need to make a frankenstein tailshaft, you just need to get a manual tailshaft. I put an SR manual box on a CA manual tailshaft with a CA auto diff and it fitted perfectly.
