id say s14 purely based on the sheer number of s15's on the roads these days...seems every 20 year old with a bank loan has one

if you'd bought an S14 you'd still have money left over for plenty of power mods. like, almost $10k worth.
but,you bought the S15,so now you have the 'pretty' car, with fuck all done. which was one of my points back on page one.

but hey,you know better.

No way mate...

You know the best, because you are the best and you know everything!
Everyone is wrong.. only you are right.

S14 and S15 are the same... personally I prefer the front end of a S14 and the rear end of a S15 :)

And for how cheap S15's are these days.. I'm selling up to even buy one :)

*LMAO* that's gold. you actually think that's going to upset me as well don't you? and that that's how I actually think? mate,in all seriousness, you have no idea about me whatsoever, and never will.
you don't like me,I don't like you and your mates, and you know what? who cares? it's not like we're ever likely to even run into each other much less hang out.

selling an S14 to 'upgrade' to an S15 isn't exactly an educated move either, unless you're doing it for the change in aesthetics, and won't be going past the usual boost-up mod level. but all of that has been covered within this thread already, which you'd know,if you'd read it.

they're not the same car, even if you ignore the obvious differences in the bodywork. there are literally hundreds of small changes between the three models,S14,S14a and S15.
saying they're the same is akin to putting a doberman next to a schnauzer and saying they're the same because they're both german breed dogs. you're so far off you'd need GPS to find a clue.

I don't know everything, and I've never said as much. I know one thing though, and that's that I know a damned sight more than you do when it comes to the S series cars, and always will. why? I've owned 3,have worked on more of them than I have digits to count them on,am a qualified mechanic, and have an easy ten years of experience on you.

I bought my first car back in 1992,and have been working on them ever since, both as a hobby, and professionally since 1996. when did you start champ?

want to try and insult me again now?

Read his sig, then you've got an educated platform on which to decide whether he's after asthetics or performance.

Anyone that gets baby blue with gold pearl, isnt entirely performance orientated.. but maybe he has money to burn, and can afford performance + prettiness on a new S15?

Its difficult to judge.. At least they're only 18s, and not 20s..

As for the question at hand, I prefer the S15 to drive.
- The S13 is very raw; rough feedback through the wheel, nice and direct. Wedge shaped lines to them.

- The S14 feels huge; longer wheelbase? more turns lock-to-lock? Even with 10f 8r coilovers, they feel smooth and comfortable. I'm not a fan.
Asthetically, the S14s have a flat, horizontal line to them. Doesn't look sporty.

- The S15 has the smoothness of the S14, with the responsiveness of an S13. Great suspension/steering. Again, back to the wedge-shaped lines, giving a real sportscar feel.

Bringing cost into it is another issue. My favourite option is the S13, with a kajillion dollars spent on it, but for a comfortable street car, i'd get the S15 with some mild mods.

My car is not a show pony... I did not paint it baby blue with gold pearl.. i bought it with that colour.. if i was going to paint it.. i would paint it matt black...

If I had a lot more money I would put VSKF's with low offset or SSR professors on my car...

I do have taste.. and I like having a balance between a street car and a performance car.. which is why my car like a lot of cars hasnt got all the performance but looks like a piece of shit.. like i said, a balance of a good looking car along with good performance is whats important to me...

Anyways, I was looking to upgrade to a S15 merely because its a newer car, I don't care about mods because I know that I will be modding it no matter what. But its either a S15 that I'm going to buy or an Evo 7...

I'm not a dumb shit that throws my money away at cars... I work hard for my money and I know what I want in a car and hey guess what? i probably have the same taste as most of you here...

fergo... your immaturity astounds me... your attitude astounds me...
which is why.. I'm just going to ignore your comment :)

he's gone now anyway,so who cares? I did like his go at me though. had absolutely nothing to come back with,so acted like he had the moral high ground. soft.
