I have just put in some coilovers and pineapples in my 15 and lowered it a 5mm from what it was on standard shocks and king springs.\

The fronts scrub slightly on the fronts. You can smell burning rubber when taking a hard corner. When u feel inside the wheel arch there is a slight build up of rubber in the wheel arch. Only a bit...checked the tires and there doesn't seem to be much damage, if any to them.

I have 18x8s on the front and the alignment is set to 2degrees negative camber, positive 7 caster and zero toe

Should i raise the car up a little or should i have the guards rolled? Any other options anyone can think of beside changing rims. If someone asks what offset they are i dont know. I have tried looking in the back but have not found anything...yet. they are GT-C's

What are the pros and cons of them?

BTW the car handles so well :D apart from the scrubbing :(

Get some spacers to clear the struts if its fouling there or get out a big f*cking hammer & get to work on your arches/inner guards if it fouls there..

roll the guards or try pulling some castor out of it so the wheels sit a bit further back from the front of the guard if that's where its rubbing.

Yeah i might just get the guards rolled and see how i go. If that doesn't solve the issue i'll be pissed!

How do you think most cars get Big lock without scrubbing & without tubbing the front wheel wells?
With a Big f*cking Hammer & a pair of tin snips..

If you fit spacers or flare your guards & it starts fouling on lock then you dont have to many other options..

Unless you Raise the car like Justin said...

the car isn't that low anyway so im going to try and roll the guards first. I got quoted $55 for both from Suzitech. Im only going to them as they are about 15mins from my place.

Has anyone heard about their rolling or seen any work they have done?

If this doesn't fix the scrubbing i may have to raise it a touch :(

Get us a pic of how it looks now, will be easier to diagnose. Guard roll is 100% nessessary, hammering shit is generally not nessessary.

Rip off your splash guard and get those guard rolled and folded all the way in... If done properly, you may not experience any paint flaking... No need to raise ur ride height. If it's just a tiny bit of scrubbing, a guard roll should take care of it for sure... GTC's are awesome rims

check the clearance between the rim and coilover to see if they are not rubbing, common issue with some coilovers, if so might need a spacer to give some clearance, that or a minor adjustment at the coilover bolts that mount to the hub, to less camber at that position, if that makes sense
