thanks guys :) yes i'm very stoked! Had alot of fun in the wet last night, i've never owned a rear wheel drive before either so it made it so much more exciting!

Plan wise; current speakers are very distort.. so ive just bought a pioneer deh-p6050UB deck, going to get kickers for the rear, its all i can really afford right now (any one know the size of the rear speakers?? haven't looked into it yet!)

Also it has a blown rear break light if anyone knows what globe im to get to replace it lol

ANYWAY! plan wise, i dont think i will modify the engine for a long time, the previous owner had down-graded the work he did and recommended me to leave it as is..for now, until i am use to the car.

Picking up 19"s this weekend :) will post pics.

if your going to install speakers you will get way better results by putting in front ones first

or on a better note ,,,,,,wind up the boost and hear the turbo whistle

congrats on the new car

ooooo, thats pretty.

i'm afraid the only fix for a busted tail light is to replace the rice lights with stockers :P or you could just remove the offending bulb and take it down to repco as it will probably be a common size dual filament brake/tail light.

And a front mount~

Grats on the new car, i'd also recommend going and taking it down to get comp. tested and looked over before you go spending all your left over money on rims n such incase some things need attending to... A healthy car is far better than a broken down Sexy car =)

got 280HP on the dyno. also, replaced the tail light globe! had to take the whole tail light out but only took 15 mins or so. all good :)

cheers for the input guys! have a Wakefield day coming up next month so ill get to familiarize myself with the car then!

im risking it atm with the turbo, got pulled over this morning on the way home, cop didn't even ask anything, just was a random RBT.

also, i didn't spend any money on the 19's they came for free, was just serviced too. :) It is very much healthy! dads mate is a mechanic he said just get it serviced every 5000km (as you do) and it'll be fine! I lacked servicing my previous car.. wont do that mistake with this one!

Also the ECU is Haltec. that is all LOL!

Will post better pics up if this bloody weather ever improves

So was it an RBT station or was it just a random cop that pulled you over?

Didn't he check your licence? :-?

getting your license checked at an RBT is pretty rare. if it's an actual RBT stop that is. if you've stuck out of the crowd and they're giving you the move-along,then they'll do everything they can to make you uncomfortable, and waste your time.
