Has anyone else noticed that the price of S15's have dropped dramatically since the start of the year. there are some selling for as low as $20000 just a year ago a jap spec was going for about 25000.
Why such a drop!!! i was hoping to sell my S15 for a hlaf decent price when i decide to sell her, but how can you compete with S15's that are going so cheap.

probably because no P platers can drive them now, so they arent selling as fast, and thus the price must be lowered. Should take on the government for lowering resale value of our cars and get compensation for it.

go look in carsales, it will make you cry seeing so many S15s for sale at such a low price

i remember buying my stock S15 in 02 for 39k.........

yeah i have been lookng at carsales and thats why got me thinking. i know it has somethng to do with no P platers not allowed turboed cars but still there are alot of people out there over 20 that want S15's. i just couldnt believe how much they went down the year.

i bought mine in 06 and it was in fairly good condition and i paid 27k for it which was pretty good as alot of the Gt specs were going for around the 29k+. Now you see spec R's and some GT's for as low as 23k which is nuts. i would hope to sell mine for at least 26k with all the mods that are on it now but with the way things are going i dont know if that will happen.

it almost makes you want to just keep driving it. if i could afford it id keep it and get the stagea for the mrs. but with interest rates STILL rising, and fuel prices not going anywhere....... well, you get me

Yeah i know exactly what you mean i guess petrol prices aren't really helping the situation either. that may be affecting the price aswell.

im going to hold out tho. my price is quite reasonable compared to the other cars being offered. plus mine has more bits on it

Yeah i think the price you are asking is very reasonable especially with all the extra goodies you get with it

i dont think i will see mine for a little while so i guess ill just have to watch as the price just keeps on dropping and dropping

hold out if you can i rekon,

if it owes you money then sell it ASAP while the price is high, but i dont rekon it will go much lower now. yeah there are several for sale right now, but there are still plenty of people that are looking for one.

i really need to move mine fast - no that wasnt a 'make me a stupid offer and ill take it' - because the mrs just rang me and said the corolla has broken down lol

i'm in the same boat as you two.. although mine has low kms (still under 70k). the market says that as a stocker its worth maybe ~$25k (02 spec R), and i'd be very lucky to get $25k i think.... but i'd sell it without most of my mods, so i'd make a few grand on the side (hopefully)..

yeah if i could be bothered taking parts off i would, but the new owner will only mod it so no bother i rekon. to me anyway
