hi there im looking for a carbon fibre bonnet anyone know where i can find a good quality one with the reinforcements on the inside of it

East Coast Customs Do bonnets aswell.. They are just about to recieve a shipment of pretty cheap ones... I've got a D-max one coming from them...

whats the go with water spray nozzles on these? do you just drill a hole and fasten them in?

ive never been a fan of vented bonnets, once it rains you get a heap of crap in ur engine bay. but each to their own, id rather an oem carbon one.

^^^ not necessarily. if you leave the vents completely open you MIGHT get crap raining in. some vents that sit right behind the fan have constant airflow OUT of them,which stops anything from dropping in when it's running.

I've seen a few good designs over the years which had spaced down baffle plates which allowed heat out,but directed rain and such into integrated drain hoses,so it drips past the engine onto the ground harmlessly.

I've got a J blood vented carbon bonnet waiting to go onto my AE86,I doubt that'll have any drainage issues. we'll see.
