hey guys,

ill make this quick.

i have a s14a 200sx. and i was fitting a computer on it, (power fc) little did i know that i needed to get a specific model for my car and i bought one that was off a s15...

now, is there any way i can do something to make this computer work? or do i need to do a swap with a diff model power fc? to suit my car?

i have heard mixed responses about having to change the computer because it wont work....to different responses saying that they just need to re wire the wiring to make it work...

please help guys!!

dinesh.

it won't work. there are too many differences, and short answer is that you can't make it work.

buy the correct ecu.

get the idea of re-wiring it out of your head and purchase the correct one for your model of car.

well, i have owned an s14a in the past, and even though i never owned a powerFC, i am able to find the model number of the correct one. how you ask? because i could be fucked to do something for myself instead of sitting behind my keyboard and asking other people to do the simplest thing!

observe:

from perfectrun.com.au, powerFC for a Nissan S14a 200SX/silvia item code 414AN016
from nengun.com, powerFC for a Nissan S14a 200SX/silvia item code 414-AN016

item code for the relevant hand controller kit, 415-X001

heck, i could have even done that if i didnt own an s14a.
