It does,I stand corrected.

that doesn't totally solve this puzzle however,as Paul's CR has dropped by 0.60:1,which is a lot more than 0.08. it would seem that the crown design or gasket thickness or such is different as well as the 20thou overbore.

I was going to criticise your arithmetic but then I did the sums and realised you'd done the area properly (pi x r x r) without actually saying so :p although I think you've halved the head gasket displacement.
