I was told by a tuner that there were different fuel pumps and injectors in the JDM's. Is that true he says they also differ to the ADM's

something like jdm has 440 cc injectors and adm has 400cc.

Can anyone confirm this?

so JDM has a more aggressive tune to the ADM?

Are there any differences in the different JDM's (spec R) or were they all the same too?

yeah the jap specs are rated at 184kw where the aus spec is 148kw.

if you are referring to the differences between the ADM and JDM Spec R's they are teh ADM comes with sunroof and 6 stacker. its rare to find a JDM with sun roof. JDM came with a few more features like rear wiper, climate control and some came with the areo kit. love that kit. Also i have seen some with TVs that pop out from the top of the dash.

if you are referring to the difference between JDM spec R and spec S then the spec S was only 5 speed manual and they are not turboed. You cant import the JDM spec S anyways.

adding to that, the main reason JDM cars have more aggressive tunes and make more power is that their fuel is higher octane standard than ours (our 'normal' unleaded is 91RON, i believe their normal fuel is more around 96RON).. which means they can make the tune more aggressive to take advantage of the better base fuel..

JDM S15s are tuned for 100RON, AUDMs are tuned for 95RON.

more boost and more agressive timing and a slightly larger exhaust on turbo models get the JDMs more factory kw

nope

spec Rs are 480cc, same as aussie manual models.

spec Ss are 380cc and manual in JDM and AUDM are 430 or 420cc AFAIK.

i dont think they had that option, they had MD and boot stacker, and popup tv and stuff too.

maybe you got one and someone has chucked in an aussie 6 stacker. take a pic of it we can tell you easy!
