This was custom made for me, but we think its awesomeness should be shared so there should be a batch going around in due course :)

That is quite pretty. I reckon it'd be worth trying to make a triple version as well. run the third across a little past the vent slot onto the driver's side, and stagger the other two to squeeze them in. short gauges like defis would fit it I reckon.

Can you name names for who made it?

Justin...

I could handle an oil pressure one in there as well. I like the idea about staggering them a bit that might do the trick, although there isnt lots of room above or below the gauges, so moving one up and two down in order to stagger them might be tricky.

Oricle: pics pics pics!

As for naming names, for who made it, no-one on this forum. Suffice to say I know someone who owns a small plastics factory, where they have this machine that creates prototypes out of plastic. It's kind of like an inkjet printer but it uses plastic and does one layer at a time.

Useful for making the angles just right, getting the holes the exact size so the gauges fit securely when they are pushed in.

Next project is an ashtray replacement cup holder. Prototype will be going in my car also :)

Sounds like you guys need to start a small on the side production company for custom parts like this ;) ... with that kind of equipment available to you, i'm sure you'd get LOTS of people wanting many things...bulk sales wouldn't be much of a problem with quality products, especially around places like this one and many others =)

Still got some work to do on it, but thats the initial design, just altering it slightly at the moment...

oh and if you start selling those as well ill def buy one..
and another thought you could just make a a ash tray like cup that takes up all the room in stead of there being a small compartment with the cigerette holder bit next to it... that dosnt really make ne sence but i cant think of another way to write it.. ill post pics of what i mean..

Scotty..
