thats interesting you say that.. are you 100% sure? Or was it a factory option?

Reason I ask is because I have a spare s14a ignition barrel with key (has the 2 buttons on it for lock/unlock) and I've compared it with 2 other ADM S14's, one being S14a and they both did not have the key with remote central locking.
Adding to that the plug on the back of my barrel was 5-pin whereas both of theirs were 6-pin.

the keys never had buttons on them,they came with a separate fob. same little oval shaped remote as hondas of the same vintage use.

S15 keys didnt have the buttons on it either. neither nor does my JDM. as fergo said, they came with a generic fob, they look like the toyota ones too i notice!

Yeah, Im not the tallest guy fergo (About 5'9") so what you say about the sunroof is understandable. I simply got it because I like having it open in the right sort of weather, just brings a smile to my face.

Pazzo 4u, you can tell the difference by firstly looking at the glass itself, the factory fitted will usually say 'Nissan' on it for starters. Then theres the in-cabin mechanism itself. I can take a pic if you want of mine.

Aftermarket doesnt always look dodgy, companies like Webasto make top notch ones. I went to see an S14a once, which was a mid-spec and had a HUGE sunroof way better than the factory luxury one. Looked almost factory.

Also, factory sunroof tilts up OR slides back. If you see a car which has a tilt AND slides, theres another way to tell

To be honest though unless you're like me and just wanted a 'Luxury', any S14a with sunroof should be fine as long as the sunroof isnt rooted.

i just came back from newcastle looking at a s14a limited with a sunroof. the sunroof didnt work and the guy made up some story about him lending the car to his son and then it stuffed up or somehting and he then took the motor out and hasnt put it back in. i dont know, but i offered him 15k and he didnt accept so.. and it also sounds like the VVS is stuffed and the sump has a bit of an oil leak.

anyways i really want to find a standard S14a luxury but its hard to find one.

Sunroof not working can lead to big headachs. Plus the motor thing sounds sus.

There not many "un-touched" Luxury's around. I looked on the net for a fair while, but did end up buying the first one I saw.

I got rid of mine and put a nardi on

Ive seen it befor on S15's (only 2)and it works (looks the sam,e as a R34 GTT key.
