hi guys

I bought Steelmate 868G 2 ways alarm with LCD on ebay other day.
this guy installed for me. he told me not to put remote engine start because it is dangerous... i told him i want it. because i never put in first gear,, always in neutral.

at the end. i forgot to check it. went home, tried it. didnt work. called him, he said he did connect the wires...

what can i do?

first of all his right you know when he says its dangerous.

even though you dont leave the car in gear there will be a time when you end up going somewhere and you end up parking on a steap hill. you end up having to use the gears to make sure your car does not end up down the hill.

try checking to see if any wires have come undone just look but dont touch. if you can visually see anything then call him to come back and check.

that would by my suggestion

Take it back and ask him to connect it.

He has given his advice and you have chosen not to accept it (which is fine) so he should connect it for you as you have asked that it is done.
