hi gang, i've already pulled down my 6speed gearbox and i'm aiming to do a writeup on this un-documented 4th gear circlip.

i cant do the machining work myself so am hoping you can point me in the right direction of any (sydney metro) workshops that have done the circlip mod.

i've already searched around and talked to some people but i havent had any specific shop recommendations :(

SOrry mate. I was looking for a good hour on someone that could of done it for you. But I can't find anyone. Have you tried mechanics in general?

i've searched high and low and although there is alot of "any gearbox place can do it" i would like to take it to one that has done it successfully before.

so far in general gearbox repair terms there is:
- award diffs and gearboxes @ rydalmere
- gearbox factory @ greenacre
- Bears gearboxes and diffs @ st marys
- gearbox express @ ingleburn

i'll speak to a few and see how i go. would be good if anybody can recommend specific workshops that have done the s15 box :)

If you go to gearbox express at ingleburn can you pick up my five speed? i left it there about 5 years ago and forgot to pick it up :P
