Greetings,

I'm looking to buy a turbo back exhaust for my S13 Silvia and I'm after some prices.

The car will be only used on the street, so I would prefer if the exhaust noise was under the legal limit.

The CES dump pipes seem pretty good, but do they make them for the S13?
I'll probably go the Apexi N1 muffler also.

Thanks for your help...

I did some shopping around a little while ago and came up with a system from Turbo Exhaust Centre in Wetherill Park, Sydney. I noticed that you're a Melbourner, but maybe you can use this as a comparison.

It's a full custom 3" Mandrel system from the turbo back, hi-flow cat, extra resonator, straight thru polished muffler with 4 1/2" tip (not brand name). It's mild steel but sprayed in a heat-proof protective paint so it wont corrode.

This set me back $1,350.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help everyone. =)

I should of said before I was looking for a good quality exhaust and I've got a maximum budget of about $2200

Has anyone got the CES dump pipe on their S13? I've heard good things about 'em-

Emailed C.E.S and got this reply-

We manufacture a C.E.S. Racing Twin Dump Pipe to suit this car. It bolts from the Turbo to the catalytic converter.
We keep mild steel painted pipes in stock or we can have it ceramic coated (polished aluminium) for you.
Price Mild steel.... $650.00
Coating extra $150.00

Would it be worth getting this dump pipe?

nice budget.
for that budget you can get FMIC + TURBO BACK zost.
as for high quality if check out my car you can see the quality of work.
www.revriteperformance.com
on the left there is a link for the FMIC install on a white180sx.. :D

as for performance increase 125kw@rw with 7psi is a healthy 20% increase over stock. with 12psi boost i'm lookin at about 140-145kw@rw

:D will let yous know by this friday how i go on the dyno :D

Thanks for the info white180sx!

A lot of people have said I should not buy a cheap FMIC, that I should spend around $2000 on FMIC alone!
Anyone have any reasons for this?

Marty - mate definatley go the CES dump pipe and get it ceramic coated. As for the rest of the exhaust they can do it and send it to you to put on. Its piss easy and the results are amazing form the exhaust alone.

Intercooler wise yep, gotta spend the money for good flow aswell as cooling. For that money shop around for a Trust or similar brand they do some nice work and it comes with all the piping.
