Hey Guys,
Hoping you can help me out, especially WHY-180. I've got a Sileighty, and have the standard NA S13 front bar. Apart from not exactly providing any flow of air to the I/C I also want to keep it intact to pass onto someone else. So no drilling holes.

I've spotted the bar I want and have been unable to find it in my fingers doing the walking. Eveyone has the Veilside style bar but not this one. Just wondering where in Sydney I can source the front bar pictured below (Special Thanks must go to WHY-180 :D ).

I've been told the style was originally called an option from the dealer and called Nissan Aero (optional) front bar, or a Nismo Aero Front bar. (or something)

Anyway does anyone know where I can pick one up.

Thanks,
Nathan.

Okay people, thanks for confirmation on the nomenclature of it. So it is a Nismo Front Bar. Cool.... Its been suggested that I try the wreckers, but as with three months ago, all the wreckers I've called go, "No we only have standard front bars..." or alternatley have no idea what I'm talking about.

I'm not necessarily after a genuine front bar; I so... Does anyone know of places that make fiberglass copies here in Oz?

Before Newstyle Motorsport changed hands they were able to get them for $500. (they aren't sure if they have them now) Obviously this would mean someone makes/distributes them locally.

Anyone got any idea?

Cheers,
Nathan

Maybe you could speak to EGREZZ, he is a member on this forum and does body kits etc etc etc.

If you lucky just before I get my car resprayed I might let him get his hands on my front bar to make a molding.....

Mayhem,
I will have a talk to Egrezz about it. If when you spray your car you do let him get his hands on it to make a mould, I'd be very keen, and that would be fantastic! Anyway I have a chat with him and see what can be done.

Really weird how one place knew exactly what I was talking about, and was able to get it, when I couldn't afford it, but now (management change over) no-one knows where they might be made as a copy locally. Spooky! If anyone spots this post and knows where I can lay my hands on one that'd be sweet.

It'd be great if I wanted the Veilside one though... every man and his dog have it!!!

Anyways thanks again Mayhem.

Cheers,
Nathan.

I'll purchase one as well if a mould is taken and fabricated copies are made

Bomex front bar is very similar to this one, and if anyone know where to source one of those then great! Again another shop in Sydney was doing these but can no longer supply cause they're mold stuffed up...

Anyways, we'll see...

Cheers,
Nahtan

Thanks for the pointer, I had actually seen that bar, though it isn't the Bomex front bar I was after, the Bomex one I was referring to is this one:

Like I said, pretty much the Nismo one.

Anyways we shall see how Mayhems respray deal goes!!!

Cheers,
Nathan.
