I am going to get a TRUST FMIC for my S15. Should cost about 2 grand fitted. You can never go wrong with the Japanese name brand as their product has gone through extensive testing. I wouldn't go for the 1 grand custom made intercooler as there are too many unknown factors with those things. Yes there are people who put those custom made 'stuff' on their car and worked but I wouldn't risk it with my S15. Put it this way, will you buy your baby's milk powder manufactured from a large reputable company or from some local back street hut?

600x300x90 thats a chunky cooler dude, and a fully fledged kit from a jap name brand are sure worth it, but just buy the kit, around the $2500g area and install it your self.

who have you been to so far?

Talk to Peter at Advan in Silverwater 96471326. They do Trust ones at good prices just over $2k fitted.

you can buy Trust/Greddy FMIC kit from Advan for approx $2K installed; if you want to save money, it can be DIY. yes, i will endorse Peter - an easy to deal with kiwi bloke (he doesn't mock around).

Front mount intercooler (FMIC)

Have a look through the hole in the factory bumper to see the factory one. Pretty small hey? Alright on a stock standard car but the more you mod the less efficient it becomes, especially with higher boost.

People go for a much larger intercooler which is said to both be less restrictive to airflow and better at cooling the compressed hot air from the turbo. It is mounted at the front of the car in front of the radiator for maximum airflow from the moving car. A mod that eceryone agrees is beneficial for durability and power.
