Ok, How the hell do you take of slowly in these cars in the wet.

New tyres and still sideways movements, not complaining about the fun but after my last incident it cost me a sh*t load.

Do some of you start of in 2nd??

as for gettin a fast take off and traction in the rain . yeah RIGHT.. :D
dump an RB26 and turn it into 4wd then it'll be ok :D hehehe

i think any HIPO Fwd or RWD will have traction problems in the wet. even some 4wd

even if you start in 2nd the moment the car gets on boost it starts to get sideways.

only solution is don't f*(k around in the wet.
its all fun in games till you loose it.

Yup, I had that problem 2 day, there is no escape even in 5th if you want to overtake, the ass swings out as soon as boost kicks in, and I agree Ace, boost kicks in even with about one 10th of throttle.
I was just thinking about it today, i think i need a boost controler so I can turn it down to 0, who needs boost in the wet???

I ment that as a joke, but I have a boost control module that plugs into my unichip so boost is variable and controlled electronicaly.
I know you cannot turn boost down lower then stock with a bleed style controller, but I though if you use the wastegate solanoid thingy you can control it. Duno, but it would be nice to give my turbo a rest every now and then.

:D dunno about them solonoids..

yeah havin boost is no good in the rain.
even a little mirage or an excel will take you on the take off.
even on high speed - due to accidental slips its scary to deck the car...

:D it would be good to turn the boost off.

just line up a hand brake type cable into the cabin to leave the wastegate open and waste the boost :D heheheheh
