because I was only endangering myself not others, I had a clean record before that. it was night time on the hume highway near mittagong. 6 lanes wide all concrete and a giant hill, its not like it was in the middle of suburbia

I already have a criminal record because of it and a disqualified license for a very long time

why should I go to prison for speeding? unfortunately its the way nsw is heading with speeding being seen as worse than drug related offenses, violence etc

No man, you are taking my question the wrong way, I was hoping you wouldn't do time for something like that.

ah ok

well yeah since it was my first offense maximum was 9 months jail and minimum was 1 year loss of license, I ended up losing my license for 2 years from the date of the incident

basically it would of had to of been a lot worse to get anywhere near the maximum

quick question:

who here actually drifts better than reaper?

Ahh case closed,

What???? You can put Keiichi Tsuchiya in a stock commodore and he will run rings around most people in the club. It doesn't mean the commodore is a better car. A good drift car is simply a good circuit car with stiffer swaybars. A big engine does not a drift car make...

RB26 S14, is better than your family's.

Once again, WHAT??? Firstly, my family doesn't have an RB26 equipped S14. If anyone did, I would happily replace the boat motor with an SR for them.

but until then he can always drift around you guys while you are grip driving hey?

As fergo and I said before, the proof is in the laptimes. If he can drift a 1:07 at wakefield (especially weaving through traffic like you describe), I'll eat a hat.
Literally, I will eat a hat.

well,I hope it does a LOT better on the road than last night's effort on the wang-o-meter.

maybe once the engine's been rebuilt it'll be worth having. atm it barely beats an SR20 with a GTRS.

I agree that it's better suited to Eastern creek. short circuits like wakefield are for cars that can corner. the creek is better suited to overpowered cars.

all hail the dented skidmobile!! :P

I originally got it with low compression on cylinder 5 and it still made 307.5rwkw on 16 psi back then

since then its been going down hill hehehe

should be ready for next dyno day indeed :)

with close to 100psi on most cylinder's and less in other's to do 263rwkw with airfuel's around 10:1 or lower is awsum considering, it barely rev's etc..
in short a completly fucked rb26 still did better then ONE sr20 with a gt-rs
not everyone care's about being fast on 1 racetrack in n.s.w.. clearly it wasnt being built to go quick around 1 racetrack.. in the end im sure he is happy with his rb26 s14 and im sure you fella's are happy with your sr20's so what's the harm?

Who said anything about one racetrack? I just said laptimes. Ideally wakefield laptimes, because that's the track most members here are familiar with. It's also fairly compact and twisty, which means it would be harder to mask handling issues with power in a straight line.
