alright so for my year 12 automotive project im doing a 180sx and putting a rb25det into it...it will be used as a drift car (ALL funded by my brother), so far its all apart, bought forged pistons,rb26 conrods(machined to fit rb25), tomei valve springs, new intake manifold. The head, block and crank are all getting machined as we speak...bought a crashed r33, stripped it, we put the front crossmember in,with one of the holes needed drilling bigger so it would fit up. All r33 brakes are going on the 180sx, took the brake lines off the 180sx brakes and put them on the r33 brakes, so no modifying is required. The r33 rear end (brakes,axles,diff..basically whole r33 rear end.) is going to be installed onto 180sx...new bushes are being made and drilled for them.

The car is getting resprayed by my brother and brother-in-law in our garage, either a candy pink or fluro pink.

Inside the car will just be the standard inside colour of what it is; silver.

If you have any questions or opinions feel free to ask

My main question is.... why pink? :o

But each to their own.
Sounds like a fun project. Wish things like this were available to me while I was in year 12

Don't consider the fully OMG Hektik yuleh crowd to validate any colour choice on a car.
Anyone who thinks pink goes with tan or white leather and dinner plate chrome wheels is not someone who has an aesthetic that you should be paying attention to.

Pink is for little girl's accessories like hello kitty hair clips. It is not a colour that a heterosexual man paints a motor vehicle.

My missus recently changed her numberplates to purple. I joked that she should put pink ones on and I was told where I could put pink numberplates. Even a woman didn't want pink on her car...

a Pink silvia. It'll stand out sure. In the 'I just walked into a shop naked' kind of way.
People will point, stare, and laugh behind your back. Some willl do all three to your face, and yell derisive commments. If that's the effect you're hoping for, then go for it! If not,add a bit more black to the mix and go for red at least. It'll look good in comparison to the first choice and noone will laugh at you for it.
