Why'd you change tyres?

I can clearly see from looking at small pictures on my laptop that the wheels are at least 50mm outside of the guards, and could possibly even be out by as much as 70mm.

Being that you own and drive the car and have it in the flesh in front of you, surely you can see that even more clearly than I can right?

How is changing to a narrower tyre on the same wheel going to fix that?

I know you're madly in love with the wheeels and just have to have them on the car,but in all seriousness, please use your brain a bit more and at least consider the legalities of what you're doing.

the car is now a rolling defect and any highway patrol car that sees it is going to pull you over and sticker the car. You'll also only get pink slips through some dodgy workshop as noone who actually follows the rules will touch it.

If you want to run those wheels on the street, you'll have to fit flares, and try to get the setup engineered. 'She'll be right' doesn't cover it.

Good to hear that they're going on as part of a process and not straight away. Running those wheels without the other work is a recipe for legal disaster.

One other thing to bear in mind is that the 195/55/R15's will put your speedo out by quite a bit if you run them all 'round.

Once it's painted, that's going to look pretty sweet, and shouldn't attract unwanted attention.
