Post subject: | My New 180SX :) UPDATE: Dyno Sheet pg 2 |
This is my new baby. 1997 Model Nissan 180SX Type X Anniversary Edition. I bought it about a year ago, pretty much standard with a cat back exhaust system and a set of UGLY advan tri spoke wheels. I have since done these mods to it: Volk TE37 knock off wheels, 18inch (waiting until i can afford the real deal ones) Tein Super Street Coilovers Garret T28 Ball Bearing Turbo Z32 AFM HKS Pod HKS BOV Apexi Power FC Greddy PRofec B Spec II Boost Controller set at 15psi Cooling Pro Bar and Plate FMIC The turbo and fmic and tuning was done by Power Tune, and made 198.4rwkw on 15psi. (i will post up dyno sheet tomorrow if i get the chance) Let me know what you think, or if you have suggestions about mods id love to hear it |

Welcome to the forum. It looks like you have got the basics of a fun street car there Before anyone can suggest any future mods, we will need to know what you plan on doing with the car. Actually, first up should be a brake upgrade. |

I have been told Stage 2 HKS cams, but it will all come down to the money situation at that time i guess could someone help me, how do i post up some pics on here? im sure if i do a search ill figure it out, but im new to the forums and wouldnt know where to start, thanks in advance |

That's a lot of power for street use. Driving like a tool on the street isn't cool any more, FYI Upgrade the brakes and take it to the track first Then see where you are at |

Just remember that the 277rwkw power figure was with e85, the PULP figure was 258 from memory. I'll have my ex gate 3071 results sometime next week. Should be an interesting comparison. I'm running unigroup spec'd baby cams rather than off the shelf tomei or hks which have been giving some good results lately. I've kept the cams small to try and keep the power band within the stock rev range. |

If it makes good power I would be so tempted... Upgrade your brakes, get some sway bars, maybe some coilovers or a good spring/shock combo and make it stop and handle. Then focus on getting power. |

Yeah, t3 version. You already have a 2835 don't you? I don't think you'd see enough of a change to warrant the dollars |
