Background:

After a lot of talk from mates I made the decision to get into the import game. And after some research fell in love with the 180. Found one to buy in Dec '06 and had to have it.
Carried out some mods in May '07 and had it tuned at 219.8kw @ 16psi.
Unfortunatly on my way to work an old guy pulled out in front of me and smashed up my front end this happened in Feb '09. That brings me to the current where I have a smashed car (and with no thanks to the NRMA) the money and am about to repair it with a s15 front end conversion and also carry out some other work I have wanted to do.

Mods it had when i bought it:

- Trust FMIC
- Blitz BOV
- HKS Turbo Timer
- Pod Filter
- Heavy Duty Clutch
- Skyline Front Seats
- Alarm and Immobilizer
- Boost gauge
- Body kit
- Vented headlight cover
- Turbosmart manual boost controller

Mods I've done:

- Removed old damaged FMIC and installed Hyrid with new plumbing
- New Walbro fuel pump and re earthed for better power
- Installed Sard Fuel Reg
- Removed stock turbo and installed Garrett gt2871r with GCG turbo kit
- Replaced AFM with Z32
- Replaced injectors with Sard 550cc
- Added Strut Bar
- Replaced filter with Apexi air filter
- Replaced leaking stock suspension with G4 coilovers
- Replaced stock ECU with Apexi Power FC and hand controller
- New battery leads
- Pioneer head unit, Pioneer speakers, Alpine Subs and rockford Fosgate Amp

Problems I've had with the car so far are:

- Stock fuel pump died
- Various water leaks... piping only
- Running stock BOV and Blitz Bov at the same time. Removed stock BOV
- Battery always going flat. Found the ECU was wired up all wrong and was running the whole time flattening the battery
- Leaking front struts
- After the tune the fuel line from the pump to the top of the tank ruptured and when on boost the car would die. This was a headache let me tell you
- Stock ECU died and I only had 3 cylinders working
- Car wouldnt rev well until warm. Found when tuned they didn't do the water temp correction.

Plan for the not to distant future due to the accident:

- Full respray with the PPG Vibrance - Liquid Crystal range
- S15 front end conversion with JDM HID lights, ADR carbon fibre bonnet and widemouth front bar
- S15 5 stud conversion and brake upgrade
- New Wheels
- Greddy Intake plenum
- Greddy Spec LS Intercooler Kit
- Stainless Steel exhaust manifold
- New timing chain, tensioner and guides
- Koyo radiator, new pump, silicon lines, cooler thermostat, and higher pressure radiator cap
- Tomei throttle body
- Battery relocation
- Greddy rocker arm stoppers
- Aluminum Coolant Reservoir Tank
- Installing surge tank with bosch 044 pressure pump and stock s13 fill pump
- Oil filter relocation and oil cooler install
- Viscous fan removal and AU thermo install
- Radiator breather tank
- Window tinting
- Re-tune

Long term plans:

- Cams and springs
- Larger sump
- Some suspension work
- Oil pressure gauge, air/fuel gauge
- Re tune

Straight after the accident

Yeah i did. I was on my way to work for night shift. Was only 200m down the road. Wouldnt rev past 2500rpm. Smoke pouring out the back. Running full rich. Didnt break into the coolant system lucking. radiator is bent but not leaking. Plugs are foulded up like a bastard though.
