Post subject:  My long awaited s14 !

Hey guys,

I've finally bought my s14 that i've been waiting for a while to get
not due to financial reasons, but rather cos noone in my family can drive it i.e. parents can't drive manual, brother can't drive turbo
but i've finally convinced them haha
here's some pics, and ill try and keep things updated

ahh,my favourite version of the S14, a series one in purple pearl.. I've owned two the same in the past, and my girlfriend's former one was originally that colour also.

enjoy the car. if you want a brand new power fc with controller,or a brand new nismo fuel pump kit for it,let me know.

I'd want $1600 for both. both are brand new in the boxes.

especially when you factor in that this model has been discontinued. people won't pay a fair price,so you have to offer amazing bargains to even get interest these days...

hmmmm
i just went for a drive and on the way home i pulled into my driveway
and the revs started to hunt (revs going up and down)
the lights also started to fluctuate, probably cos of the alternator spinning at different speeds
this sounds the same as "gerryboys" problem..

^ Pull all the trim out and put it in the bin....

Post subject:

haha what if the retrimmers can use it !
then i would save a bit of moneyyy ??

Post subject:

No throw it the bin, what do you need a retrimer for?

Author:  rk2k9 [ Fri Jun 26, 2009 8:32 pm ]
Post subject:

cos my boot is a big mess, everythign is everywhere
all the trim has peeled off and it's all warped and distorted over time
also i've put in a spare s14 wheel instead of the space saver, so that needs to be moulded, i've put in a lower car jack, so that needs a proper mount
and i also want a future sub mount, amp mounting, and perhaps a battery relocation

im going to tell a very sad story to you all..

i've had my car in a shop for a while now
i've gotten parts for it left right and centre
i got it back last weekend, doing a healthy 248.3kw atws
after a whole month and a half of hard work and a fair bit of money, i've finally finished it

just in time to register for that oran park event on the 9th of august.
and guess what.

my fucking brother, of 19 years of age
took it out of the garage WHILE I WAS AT WORK
cos he "wanted to see how it goes"
he doens't know how to drive manual, let alone driving a twin plate clutch in a 12 second car.

i came home from work at around 530pm, and i do what i always do and walk into the garage to look at my car
i walk into the garage and this is what i saw, (ill try to describe it as im too upset to take photos and post them up)

the WHOLE REAR END IS FUCKED
the bumper is split into multiple peices and pushed up until about 70cm of the rear window
the boot is entirely crumpled, even my spare tyre's rim was buckled
all the lights are smashed
the rear guards have been folded in and from underneath it looks liek big chassis damage
my suspension is fucking all bent and my diff is sitting at an angle

this is when i run into the house losing my mind, like never before
and suprise suprise my brother is OUT, what a fucking dog act
my dad also said that when he drove it back into the garage, everytime the wheels moved there was a loud crackle.. bye bye $3000 diff..

and now im sitting here waiting for him to come home and destroy his face.
*sigh*

I'm seriously very sorry to hear that mate.

If I was in your place I'd be having a word with your parents and working something out to make sure your brother replaces it. have your old man push him to get a loan or something and buy you another S14.

that IS very bad news, and its worse that its a family member.

i rekon dont be home when he shows up. get your parents to sort it out because you might do or say something in the heat of the moment that you may regret.
