1 outing to WSID with the nankangs after i got it back after 3 yrs off the road and still learning to drive it, ran 12.90 @ 112.96mph with soft 4000rpm launch and gentle gear changes.
Better tyres, more aggressive launch and quicker shifting should see a more respectable ET and MPH now that Ive had the car back and know it a bit better.
Looking to run a mid 11, hence the saving up for the next phase of the engine build (gt3076 etc)

Here are some pics of the progress over the years:

When I first got it back in 2000

The rice year 2001  , respray, kit and wheels all free as part of an endorsement deal through a paint/kit shop no longer around.

Current status : Dramas. The car was ready to go, all that was missing was fitting up with glass and rubber seals. The the fukwit landlord that owns the industrial complex where the painter has the shop accidently reveresed into the front end of my car as it was parked out in the car park outside the shop. No real damage, just pretty serious scratch along front bar etc.
He claimed on his insurance, however the insurance co seems to think a paintjob is a paintjob and you could fix my situation with a spraycan or something.
Painter had to write a report explaining the customisation involced, what House of Kolor Candy paint is, the rep from House Of Kolor had to go out and do a report also, fukin headache and a half, seems it is finally but slowly being sorted out...

Will update the thread as it progresses.

nice car mate.
sorry to hear about the idiot reversing into your car.
you really gonna get them wheels? why ruin such a good buildup with quality parts with cheap wheels. save a bit more and get some proper jap stuff :)

if you really want cheap rims that look good, have mad dish & low offset, can't go past the lenzo D1R rims, 18x10 +22 all round, lip the guard and you'll be sweet. otherwise get 17s 17x9+30 & 17x10 +15

Cheers mate, I had looked at those wheels through Luis, but decided to go with the Axis Hiro option.
They actually arent that bad a wheel.

The ones I have are actually a more alloy colour, not the grey type as in the pic. (the actual rims have not arrived yet)

They dont look too bad on the s13 either.

that doesn't look too bad, you should get the same size rears for the fronts (with same dish & concave spokes) all round, would look heaps better
