In regards to the o2 sensor that runs across the floor & out into the cat, when I get the straight thru exhaust in can I get rid of this o2 sensor seeing as I haven't got the cat or do I have to get it tapped into the pipe?

It's not an O2 sensor, it's a temperature sensor.

All it does is turns on the cat temp warning light on the dash, so you can just remove it.

Well I feel like idiot, a mate told me it was a second O2 sensor  thanks for that I'll give it the chop tomorrow

Minor Update:

Read on the forums that DBA rotors don't really hold up too well with full time track use, so decided to upgrade & got a set of GTR Project Mu SCR pro rotors & HC+ pads.

Installed a 1kg fire extinguisher and put up a sheet of metal to block the cabin from the boot, although I know it's not needed, it only cost me $10 so found it easier than getting the metal wrapped around the surge tank lines & fuel pump

And installed my new steering wheel & and put the dash back in

Finally got around to ordering a ssautochrome manifold and it arrived today, seems it will be going back tomorrow or the day after, I tried to bolt to turbo on this arvo and 2 of the holes are drilled on an angle so the studs wont drop in :x

Not really bout my build up but no point starting a new thread, merely wanted to publicly thank a guy from Dept of Fair Trading.. After a yr of arguments with Nissan & a whole bunch of receivers, I finally got my refund back for the roof I never got with a massive assist from Gary from Fair Trading, I'd actually spoken to the company involved and they told me at the time it wasn't them and passed me on to someone else but after the Gary got onto them & said "If we don't get an answer we'll go to the tribunal" they backed down and sent me a cheque :)

Yeah the first woman I spoke to didn't want to hear bout my problem, but once I gave it to them in writing they said "well seeing as you've written it out, we'll take a look and see if we can help"

Finally going to get my roof changed over, and was just wondering whether it's worth getting lexan/polycarb etc to replace the glass on the rear window & 1/4 glass? The guy whose doing it said if I want to do that he'll just leave the glass out, but I'm not too sure if it's worth doing or not

Not worth it if you want to keep it road registered, and aren't looking for every last gram of weight reduction.

Alright thanks for that, it's not registered anymore and I'm not at the stage yet to shed every gram I can so I'll just leave the glass in.

In an na car where every bit of weight counts, maybe. But with a turbo just up the boost 0.4 psi and that'll do more than your lexen windows ever would
