Yeah I only found the guy after being sent to him from a guy who works at Bob Jane :)

Seems I already have a challenge waiting for me once the car is track ready, a mate of mine has challenged me to a race a Calder Park because she belives her V8 will leave me behind on the track.

Update:

Got the front panels drilled and bolted on and they line up good with the bonnet, now just have to wait for my roof to show up from japan (3 weeks my ass, try 4 months and still waiting  ) then I'll take it down to a mate's workshop and he'll change the roof over and hopefully cut & weld the rear quarter panels on.

I think I've done pretty much all I can to remove weight without spending any coin, the AC system, both reo's, carpet & sound deadening, passenger and rear seats, space saver, speakers, under dash crap and abit of unneeded wiring have all been taken out.

Sooo.. I ring Nissan this afternoon to find out wtf is going on with my roof, and after having a look the guy tells me that it's currently being held (where was the 5 min phonecall to tell me that?)

Anywho he said he was going to ring Nissan..as in Nissan Japan? :-? and find out who it's being held by and for what reason. Jeez whoever thought ordering a friggen roof would take so long or be so stressful.

Well I just came back from nissan and the news is ALL bad, Nepean Motor Group in Penrith went into recievership and has been taken over..once the take over occured ALL back orders were cancelled, which includes my f**king roof.

So it has to be reordered, and IF im lucky (really big if) and the roof is there waiting for me in Japan I might have it in maybe a month, if one needs to be made up then it could take another 3 months! if its the latter I'm going to be more pissed off.. 7 months for a roof is bullshit I could of flown to japan and brought the damn thing back myself in this time.

Vitty & Nath: Where did you get the set of lug nuts?

Would you believe I picked up a spare set of Advans tri-spokes and the nuts I have do not fit. They are too wide for the Advan hole so need some nuts that are thin that are 12x1.25mm.

Cheers.

I was hoping so too, but the wreckers I went to said they only have half cuts (apparently for the price of a full cut they could bring in 3 front cuts and it just wasn't worth it to them).

Then days after I'd ordered it Buz138 said they had a shell FS but I'd already ordered the roof and couldn't cancel :(

Get a set of hex nuts. Most parts places should carry them fairly cheap.

Like the ones on that page named STEEL WHEEL NUTS—TUNER NUTS wn153

Nissan charged me $790 for it and its a direct swap, all I got to do is snap the welds on my current roof and put the new one on.
