sweet. let me know when youre going marulan!

theres a 32 front brake setup on ns.com for 200 bucks
or you can have my z32 calipers (they are apparently not gtr) and stock 5 stud rotors to suit for 100. one needs rebuild and both need lines.

yeah will do man,
nah all good man, my 33 setup will be fine, z32 uses a smaller rotor as well.
palm it off to someone on ns lol

update;
yay,
my lower rear subframe tension rod arrived, will install it this weekend along with the spacers.

just need to get a cusco front one from ebay.
suspension wise for the car is pretty much set, just need track alignment done by road & race.

thinking i might as well get poly pineapples, anyone notice any difference with these installed? since the car is at least 10 years old, pretty sure the subframe bushes could do with new replacements.

would be using stock T28 GTR BB turbos. theres a guy in the UK thats pushing nearly 300kw on 14psi :o and note the induction sound is GTR like

Twins on an RB25 would be too much hassle i reckon. You would be better off just getting a nice 3071 or 3076 bolt-on kit

you won't be able to make the most of twins.

even on a 26 with stock twins the boost threshold is up around 4k. They atleast have an 8k rev limit so they get a reasonable power band. rb25 (atleast the old r33 spec ones) had a 6850 limit so well short of where you need to be.

For track work keep it simple, 2 turbos means there's just one more thing that can go wrong, along with the extra weight of the turbo and piping, shielding, etc etc.

Is it just me, or in the second picture the rear turbo isn't spinning despite the engine running?

Post subject:

yeah looks like its not spinning lol.

hmm it does seem very interesting and is definitely different. theres a guy on ns.com selling apretty much bolt on kit with everything for $1200ono.

is there any single turbo that would make 230~rwkw on 13psi on a rb25?
low boost, response & torque would be good.

the response, torque & gruntyness of it is awesome

the twins generate a huge amount of heat aswell

mine used to get real hot with the stock twins but runs alot cooler (inside the car) with the single

If you have the money, a HKS GT-RS will do nicely. A 2530kai will probably get you to 230rwkw with stock turbo response but pushing 18psi and with no headroom for when you get bored.

You'd have to be crazy (or have more money than sense) to try twins on an RB25 IMO. Just go for a twin scroll exhaust manifold/turbine housing if you're keen on spending lots of money..
