I had a good week of work.

Half finished painting the interior, decided the prep wasn't good enough so took to it all with a flap disk and wire brush attachment for the drill.

Then repainted it again.

Got the power, lighting and earth wiring added in for the boost gauge and boost controller for future use.

Reinstalled the dash, steering wheel, seat and factory seat belt. Installed the new cluster too. Just need to join a couple of wires and i'll have my water temp and oil pressure gauges working. Oil temp can wait until the oil cooler is installed with the turbo engine.

Added a cut out switch in the dash so that i don't have to disconnect the battery every time i work on it and incase i need to disconnect it in a hurry if i crash

installed a 1kg fire extinguisher

Made a mess of the guards to clear the sterns all round as i won't have time to get the flares done before it's debut. Guard roller broke so one of the rears was done with a hammer.

bought some cheap shit rear pads, to be installed tonight if i am motivated.

pic's to follow as i ran out of light yesterday.

The angle on the gauges isn't optimum but it'll do the job

Got rear pads installed but found one of the rear calipers had popped a seal out so had to do a quick rebuild and now i need to bleed the brakes again. :x

custom dash looks good, is the boost 60mm, the tacho 80mm and the rest 52mm?

im in the process of doing mine trying to squeeze in 6 52mm gauges and a 110m tacho

yeah,

And i have the 2 inch gauges spaced out enough that if i ever decide to upgrade i have the space to install 63mm ones.

It'd be a stuggle to get 6 in there

looking good :)

btw - if you're wondering about the small plug hanging next to the ECU, that was set up to plug into the data logger / wideband o2 sensor for easier tuning funs. You can also use it to get throttle position, afm voltage, rpm signal, etc without having to hack into any wiring.

yep.

I can't remember if the matching plug is still on the logger, but if not it'll be easy enough to find.
