Great work. Love the rotors.

So what turbo power do you have prepared/planned for this car?

Oh and if you advertised the GTR brakes last week I would have bought them. I just bought some GTR calipers. Just need need to buy some rotors now.

it'll get an s15 DET bottom end (currently in the garage) with cams, springs, thinner head gasket and my old 3071 (also in the garage).

the goal is around 250rwkw with as much response as i can get out of it.

And gate. Just so i can deafen people as i drive past :)

I only decided to remove the brakes this week so no biggie.

Regards,
Albert

not very but if i can get the majority of the boost in by 4ish i'll be happy.

I noticed when comparing the 3071 to gtrs graphs on the rb25 that power wise the 3071 seemed to get going a bit sooner, lose a bit in the midrange and then make a bit more up top. Basically a more linear curve.

Hopefully i can get the same.

The other option is to mess about with timing to get it on sooner and sacrifice a bit of top end. The 250 figure is basically the upper limit i want to run on a stock bottom end. The turbo can make more but for track use i wouldn't expect it to last.

Just run anti-lag! If nothing else, you'll scare everyone else off the track. Then again you'll probably get black-flagged when your exhaust falls off.

you'll want at least one muffler under it.

it's not often enforced, but you do need to keep under a decibel limit on the track. maybe just fit a hot dog to the dump pipe just before it exits before the N/SR wheel...

I was only joking :P But i will have gate....

TMB's car is loud enough with the cannon on the back, and previously with the mega phones and no muffler but much less power.

I reckon my car is currently just the right amount of loud for a track car

it's at the ear plugs worth considering level of loud.

Not so bad outside of the car but pretty loud inside
