I had some in a 17x9 +17. Got rid of them because I got sick of looking at them. Found a set of Regamasters in the same size for cheap.

Seriously though, congrats on the 1:07.

Yeah I know you had the white ones on the RX7. Shaun ended up with them but has since sold apparently.

I have no idea on ride height. I wanted it reasonably high to not have too much of a negative impact on the factory suspension geometry.

Hey mate, I saw you new video on youtube (26/1)..

Looked like nice long sessions and a bit less crowded than the CC trackday I went to, did you get many clean laps / new PB?

No PB's for me this time. The best I did on the few trouble-free laps I completed was a 1:09.00

Session 1: Blown cooler hose after 100m. Towed back to pits
Session 2: Blown cooler hose (different one) after 3 laps. Limped back to pits
Session 3: Blown cooler hose (same as session 2) after 3 laps at the same corner. Limped back to pits
Session 4: Completed this session without any issues. Running on new tyres so no awesome times run
Session 5: Blown turbo-manifold gasket and dump pipe. End of day
Session 6: Drove Hello Kitty nugget. Its horrible! (but fun)

I'm still not pushing the car at all. I'm braking way too early and cornering relatively slowly. I'm hoping a full successful day will have me dropping times quite a bit

I thought I heard a familiar whistle in that video.. Shame you didn't get everything ironed out early in the day, but I'm sure by the time I finish writing this you've already fixed everything! :D

Keep up the good work, the only reason I'm still coming back here (due to not having a silvia anymore) is to read the threads in this section. Top work!

So anyway, after pulling the turbo off to investigate the damage, it turns out that one turbo nut had fallen off, another stud had snapped off, and there was less than 25% of gasket remaining. I can't believe I still got 9's with that many power-robbing issues.

Below is a picture of my gasket, compared to what a normal one looks like
